Most standard tattoo inks work. Some inks sit on the surface rather than being absorbed into the material — that's a material difference, not a defect. We recommend testing your ink brand on a small area first.

Yes. Thermal transfer paper works. Apply with green soap or stencil solution and let it dry 10–15 minutes before tattooing.
